Medical Staffing Co-ordinator

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and efficient individual to join the Women, Children and Sexual Health Services Administration Team and support the delivery of Medical Staffing services across the Division. This is full time position which requires proven experience of working in a high pressure area.

Applicants should have the ability to think calmly and logically under pressure and have a positive attitude to maintaining high standards with attention to detail at all times.  You will be quick to learn, be able to work as part of a team and also possess the ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative.

Working as part of the Divisional Medical Staffing team, you will help support the delivery of rotas and staffing to an agreed level and provide support to the Specialty and Divisional Management teams.

You will oversee and help the Medical Staffing Assistant to produce accurate timetables for senior and junior medical staff working within the Division. You will oversee accurate recording of planned and unplanned absences, such as leave or sickness and carry out various duties relating to rota management.  You will be required to communicate with a wide range of disciplines and possess an aptitude for negotiation and persuasion.

Your role will include reviewing all current rotas and processes around rota co-ordination and identify how these can be streamlined and improved.

This is a full-time post working 37.5 hours per week but there may be part-time opportunities available.
