We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our friendly, busy departments at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust. You will be joining the rotation for Band 6 Occupational Therapy with the Emergency Medicine, Neurology, Medical, Surgical and Eldercare Teams in delivering Occupational therapy assessment and treatment to a varied caseload.
Do you have leadership qualities, effective communication skills, a flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure, both as part of a team and independently? Can you demonstrate up to date clinical knowledge and training in this area? If so, then come and join us.
This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week to include routine weekend working on the 7 day rota. There may also be a need for flexible working across the working day.

It is a beautiful county which offers an outstanding quality of life and providing many opportunities for outdoor activities, with its sailing waters, surfing beaches and rugged coastal pathways for walking, and cycling. There is a thriving arts and theatre scene as well as an interesting variety of eating places, including celebrity-owned restaurants within Cornwall.
The major route both in and out of the county is the A30 which connects with the M5 motorway at Exeter. There is an excellent rail service with daily passenger and sleeper services, and an airport at Newquay with daily and economical connections to many cities throughout the UK and abroad.
