An exciting opportunity has arisen whereby we are seeking to appoint experienced and motivated optometrists to join the Ophthalmology team at the Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work alongside the consultant optometrist in the optometry department and will be working predominantly with children performing cycloplegic refractions and fundoscopy. The successful applicant must be a qualified optometrist, ideally with demonstratable post registration experience. Previous experience of working in a hospital setting would be advantageous but not essential. Other key attributes for this post include excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team focus, initiative and the ability to deliver a high standard of patient care.

If you are interested in regular sessions to complement your community practice we would be very interested to hear from you.

Proposed interview date: Friday 09th November
