Ward Sister / Charge Nurse
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our well established team. You will be working for Medical Services and will be the nurse leader on our busy 10 bedded (level 2 care) unit, where you will lead care to inpatients on an acute Cardiology care pathway.
The Coronary Care Unit has complex demands with a dedicated team who are continuously striving to achieve an ‘outstanding’ CQC rating. The successful candidate will be the senior nurse who co-ordinates the care of patients with acute cardiac conditions whilst also caring for some of the most acute medical conditions in Medicine. We are seeking applications from individuals who can lead, support and educate a highly motivated Cardiac team in the delivery of innovative care whilst providing a positive environment to work in.
Our interesting specialty makes the team forward thinking and ambitious with patient experience and patient outcomes at the very ‘heart’ of it. We provide holistic, multi-professional care. As the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse you will be a key player of the team in decision making for the on-going treatment and care of patients and the direction we take the Cardiac services in Cornwall.

This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week (Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate)
