We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our rotation across the Cornish Health Community. We are looking for a team member who can provide decisive and effective Occupational Therapy input. You will commence the rotation at Marie Therese Neurological Rehabilitation Unit, Hayle. Marie Therese Neurological Rehabilitation Unit is a 12 bedded Unit, managing patients with a range of complex neurological conditions.
• This is an entry-level post working the equivalent of 37.5 hours per week.
• This post holder will join the Occupational Therapy Band 5 rotation scheme. This is a scheme, which spans across different health setting and different areas of practice.
• Within this rotation you will develop specialist skills in the following areas: Physical medicine, learning disabilities and adult mental health, under the guidance of the senior staff. Work base will change with site changes.
It is part of the Therapy Department’s objective to provide assessment/discharge planning towards rehabilitation over seven days. This post may include weekend working and will require flexibility in the hours worked.
