An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our ambitious and friendly team. The team supports in excess of 12,000 clinical and non-clinical staff within the Cornwall Healthcare Community in Data Quality processes within systems.


The post holder will be a team player and will possess proven excellent telephone, communication and customer care skills and be able to communicate with all levels of staff across the Cornwall Healthcare Community.  You will be expected to work calmly in a busy environment.


The post holder will be flexible, organised, and dynamic and show an eagerness to learn the Data Quality aspects of support within clinical systems.  Attention to detail and accuracy is essential together with the ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively.  This job is largely desk based.


We are looking for a person with the following skills, attributes and experience:


  • Good general understanding of technology
  • Ideally with experience of using NHS Clinical or Business applications
  • Proven customer care skills
  • Proven communications skills, pleasant telephone manner
  • Excellent team player
  • Copes well in a busy environment
  • Accurate word processing/typing/numeracy/data entry skills
  • Experience user of MS office applications
  • Experienced user of e-mail systems – MS Outlook and NHS Mail an advantage
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively

This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm.
