Our organisation recognises the importance and value of good quality data and information, as well as the essential role of the information team in supporting our clinical teams. The information team is responsible for producing a wealth of healthcare related information, utilising data from a myriad of systems. This may be to support; clinical outcomes, quality improvement, operational or performance monitoring, freedom of information requests, transformation projects or to meet statutory obligations to return information to the Department of Health
Experience or knowledge of health care services would be an advantage in this role but is not essential, as training will be provided. You will need data analysis skills, an innate problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills. Experience in the growth and development of new or existing information reporting solutions would also be desirable.
Key to the success of the role will be the production of accurate and timely information using a variety of sources and formats, utilising complex queries to transform data into information. You must have excellent numerical and presentation skills as well as a proven ability with MS Excel and Access. A working knowledge of SQL and the Microsoft BI Stack would also be desirable. You must be a team player whilst retaining the ability to work independently.

Applications are welcome from new or recent graduates or candidates without NHS experience; as training will be provided, however, essential criteria must be met.
This is a full time post of 37.5 hours per week but there may be part-time opportunities available.
