We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our friendly musculoskeletal Band 6 Rotational Scheme at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust. 

This post has a mixed caseload of Inpatient adult elective orthopaedics, acute trauma  and Outpatient rheumatology working with both adults and paediatric patients. Whilst predominantly based at RCH Treliske Hospital, in Truro, part of the rotation is also based at the St. Michaels hospital site, in Hayle.You will have the opportunity to manage a varied caseload from acute, high turnover patients to those requiring long-term interventions with chronic conditions.

We are looking for a team member who can provide decisive and effective Occupational Therapy input, and who has the confidence and energy to work across these fields.

Do you have effective communication skills and a flexible and dynamic approach to your work as an occupational Therapist? Do you have good leadership qualities and an ability to work calmly under pressure, both as part of a team and independently?


Can you demonstrate up to date clinical knowledge and training in this area? Would you like the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills so that they are transferable between inpatient and outpatient settings?   If so, then come and join us.
